Chinese Internal Arts
& Dagger Forms

Pa Kua Chang 8 Palm Changes
The 8 Palm Changes are a sequence of fighting movements practiced as a moving meditation while walking in a circle. The constant stepping and quick direction changes are accompanied by circular arm movements and sudden discharges of explosive power. If you like the idea of Tai Chi but want something more physical, then Pa Kua Chang might be just the art you're looking for. Over the years I have found this form to be one of the best if you want to learn "just one" set.

Tai Chi Chuan 13 Postures
The 13 Postures of Tai Chi are the original exercises of this powerful fighting art. Once you learn these core movements you will have the essence of Tai Chi Chuan and be able to start working on the applications. Whether you want to learn for health or self defense, it is considered best to learn the 13 postures before trying to learn any of the longer 108 move Tai Chi forms.

Shaolin Double Daggers
This is a dynamic advanced level form which teaches the essence of Shaolin longfist as well as fighting tactics with the double daggers. This set combines whirlwind hook and stab techniques using the daggers with quick spinning and jumping footwork. Groundfighting is also addressed in the form. Fast, wild, and a lot of fun, but with solid technique as well!

Shaolin Supplemental Drills
Select Chinese External-Style training drills have been incorporated into the Internal curriculum so students have more ways to test their development, and to improve select attributes. This includes traditional warm-up exercises, stance work and stepping drills up on cement blocks, arm and leg hitting drills, and so on.
